Bogor Botanical Garden

Bogor Botanical Garden is located in the center of Bogor, south of Jakarta 60 kilometer. Land area of about 80 acres include State and Presidential Palace or Istana Bogor. Founder of the Bogor Botanical Garden is Caspar Georg Carl Reinwardt appointed in 1817 as Director of Business Agricultural. Currently Bogor Botanical Garden has more than 15,000 species of plants and 50 species of birds and bats.
